Campbells has a new general counsel Darryl Brooks

Campbell Soup has appointed Lincoln National Corp lawyer Adam Ciongoli as general counsel. At Lincoln, where he worked from 2012, he directed the insurer’s law, compliance, corporate secretary and government relations departments. He previously worked at Willis Group Holdings, where he was group general counsel and secretary. Prior to that, Mr Ciongoli was senior vice president and general counsel for Time Warner Europe. Mr Ciongoli was also employed in the Washington office of Kirkland & Ellis, where he worked with Whitewater prosecutor Kenneth Starr.

Natural gas infrastructure provider Williams (WMB) has appointed Sarah Miller as general counsel of the company. She will lead Williams’ legal team, succeeding Craig Rainey who has retired. Ms Miller, who previously served as vice president, corporate secretary and assistant general counsel for the company’s corporate secretary team, was appointed to the interim general counsel position in March 2015. She joined Williams in 2000 and has served in a variety of legal leadership roles. In addition to serving as corporate secretary and assistant general counsel, she has also served as senior counsel for the company’s midstream business, and as senior attorney for the legal department’s business development team. Prior to joining Williams, Ms Miller was a litigation associate at Crowe & Dunlevy. 

SRI International has selected John McIntire as general counsel of SRI International. McIntire, who has served as acting general counsel since April 2015, was  previously assistant general counsel at SRI. He will advise SRI in matters of ethics and regulatory compliance and provide guidance to all of SRI's revenue-generating activities, which encompass multi-million dollar government and commercial R&D services and contracts, commercial licensing, and venture-related transactions. Prior to joining SRI in 2003, Mr McIntire worked with SAP, including corporate and business development roles in Asia and Europe and as vice president of SAP's Global Intellectual Property group. Prior to that, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company's corporate strategy group. He started his career with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati /Venture Law Group.

The Miami Dolphins has appointed former NBA executive Myles Pistorius as senior vice president-general counsel. Mr Pistorius joins after the NBA where he was senior vice president of content and business affairs. He will report to CEO Tom Garfinkel and oversee all legal affairs for the Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium. Prior to working for the NBA, Mr Pistorius worked as a corporate associate with New York law firm Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett.

Source UK Services Ltd, Europe's exchange-traded products provider, has appointed Katy Walton Jones as general counsel and a member of its management committee. Ms Jones joins from Citco Financial Products (London) Ltd, where she was general counsel and director.
