The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association is aiming to have 20 Asian-American general counsel in Fortune 500 companies by 2020. The organisation estimates there are 13 currently in top jobs but is keen to extend the numbers. Xerox Corp General Counsel Don Liu said at an Asian-American lawyer event last week that because of these numbers, Asian-American candidates were not always included in diversity pushes.
