Australian IP firm opens in Shanghai

Sydney-based Spruson & Ferguson believes it has become the first Australian IP firm to open up in China through its late January launch in Shanghai.

Patent attorney Dr Oliver Lutze will head the office for the practice which runs to 75 IP professionals and 45 patent attorneys. He said: 'Our China office further increases our support capabilities for clients in Asia with regard to their IP protection needs in one of the most relevant markets globally.' Source: Lawyers Weekly
