There has been significant civil disturbance in Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland, in protest at the death in police custody of 25-year old Freddie Gray a week after he was arrested in apparent good health. The exam period at the law school starts this Monday. Students will have to download testing software which prohibits them from access to their hard drive or the internet while they are taking the exam.
Help to protesters
The law school at the University of the District of Columbia starts its exam period on Wednesday. It has offered to postpone one exam to students who are providing legal advice to the protesters. Source: ABA
