California Supreme Court to consider disbarring lawyer for 1,100 complaints

The Supreme Court will decide on the fate of James Mazi Parsa of Orange County after he was suspended for two years for having sex with a 17-year old employee and faces a range of range of different complaints from numerous sources.

A state bar court has found that Mr Parsa abandoned 43 clients. Another 1,130 have filed complaints about him.

Mr Parsa has stated that problems were created when the state bar took jurisdiction over his practice but did not explain the situation to clients, nor decide if they were owed refunds. Source: ABA
