Carey Olsen has doubled its manpower in the tax haven of the British Virgin Islands [BVI] with the appointment of three extra lawyers.

Clinton Hempel, managing partner of the office, said: ‘These recent appointments…. are evidence of increasing client demand for BVI advice in corporate, finance and investment funds matters.’ The arrival of the new lawyers follow on the heels of the recruitment of corporate and finance specialist lawyer Claire McConway as counsel to the practice.
