Divorcing parents are more concerned about their children than finances, according to a survey by US law firm Sodoma. The firm surveyed 100 people in Charlotte amd found that amongst those who initiated divorce proceedings, children's psychological well-being was the top concern followed by other child custody issues. This was followed by losing companionship, financial support and damage to the family reputation with inability to afford a lawyer coing sixth. Those who were on the receiving end of a divorce petition were equally worried about their children with child custody the top concern followed by the children's welfare.
