More than 500 lawyers have written an open letter, calling for the proposal - which could bring with it prison sentences of up to three years - to be thrown out. The proposal comes from the Communist party and seeks to punish those who 'seriously disrupt the order of the court'. It also speaks of 'insulting' or 'threatening' a judicial officer.
