Clayton Utz is cutting its link with Haley & Co in Hong Kong and focusing its resources on its domestic market. Visun Khankasem

The association will finish after four years on 30 June. Darryl McDonagh, chief executive partner, said that the tie-up made sense when the firm was concentrating on the broader Asia Pacific region, adding: ‘However, with the changes in the legal services market, we have developed a clear strategic focus on being Australia’s pre-eminent top tier independent law firm.’  With the Haley association ending, Clutz will no longer have any offices outside Australia.
