Clyde strengthens insurance litigation team in Scottish tie-up

The October merger with Simpson & Marwick gives Clyde its first Scottish base and brings seven offices in Scotland and England into the Clyde network.

Partner numbers will increase by 12 per cent if all 45 Simpson & Marwick partners join the Clyde partnership. Turnover - £28.5m at Simpson & Marwick - would increase by roughly seven per cent to a total of £420m. The combined firm will have 3,000 staff, including 1,800 legal professionals, and will only use the Clyde & Co name.
