Entertainment news web site TMZ.com reports that California’s Keith Fink & Associates is claiming that, in a 10 month stint in 2009, Ms Love had the firm work on 14 legal matters, racking up $518,640 in fees.

Gratitude

In the lawsuit, which is being filed in LA County Superior Court, Mr Fink claims that Ms Love repeatedly expressed her gratitude to the firm by sending gifts, thank you notes, flowers and tickets to concerts. But when she sent cheques to cover the bill, most of them bounced.
Mr Fink also claims that Ms Love's business manager tried to stall bill collectors with guarantees that the fees would be paid when Ms Love received money from the Nirvana estate.
Ms Love's representative, Steve Honig told TMZ: ‘Courtney has not been served with anything; so as far as we're concerned there is no lawsuit. Additionally, Keith has not been her attorney for many years, so it's a bit odd that this would surface now.’
