Cyber security tops agenda for corporate counsel

Like academics and lawyers in law firms, corporate counsel are increasingly focusing on cyber security issues.

The legal and regulatory aspects of cybercrime and the security of laptops and mobiles are the top-billed items at the 52nd Annual Corporate Counsel Institute, being  held at Northwestern University in early October. Privacy issues and the effect of cybercrime on organisations will also be major themes at the conference, according to Northwestern University.
