The merger takes place on 1 January. Day Pitney has a team of nearly 300 lawyers - based in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and Washington DC. The Florida move is the second merger to be announced by the firm this month - having announced it was taking over Porzio, Bromberg & Newman in New Jersey just a fortnight ago.
