The UK-headquartered law firm will benefit from Mr de Senneville's experience helping firms develop service offerings for clients looking to establish or manage their business presence in Africa. From 2008-2012, he served as head of tax for Deloitte's French-speaking Africa group, where he advised high-profile clients including commodities trader Glencore and Canadian mining group First Quantum Minerals across 17 different French-speaking African countries. Immediately prior to joining Fieldfisher this month, Mr de Senneville set up an Africa desk at boutique law firm Lazareff Le Bars, where he was also a partner.

Meeting growing need

A statement from Mr de Senneville commented: '[Fieldfisher] has a number of African specialists across its offices and I will be working hand-in-hand with them to provide a structured, global offer to clients with growing needs across the African continent.' Sources: Legal WeekFieldfisher
