Dentons switches partner firm in Ghana

Dentons has ended its 12-year relationship with Benti-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah and signed a new one with JLD & MB Legal Consultancy.

Benti-Enchill says it wishes to have more options than to be tied in to its former relationship. A statement from the practice, which is the Ghanaian member of law firm networks Lex Mundi and Lex Africa, says it found 'significant benefits' in the Dentons relationship. But it added: ‘The firm has however been undertaking a strategic review of its existing relationships with other law firms and has decided to maintain its independent status, and to consider other options.’ JLD & MB runs to five partners and ten other lawyers through specialisms in energy and natural resources, telecommunications and aviation.
