The unsealed records give an insight into the way the case against Dewey & LeBoeuf chairman Steven Davis and two senior colleagues will be built by prosecutor Cyrus Vance. The firm collapsed two years ago. The three - also including Stephen DiCarmine, executive director, and Joel Sanders, chief financial officer - could face 25 years if found guilty.
Budget director
The seven include Thomas Mullikin, the controller, who said: ‘I never met the firm’s chairman,’ while he said he had infrequent contact with Joel Sanders and ‘even less’ frequent contact with Stephen DiCarmine. Others of the seven include the budget director, Ilya Alter, and revenue support director Dianne Cascino.
