The UK's top 20 law firms by revenue saw 533 partners exit the firm in the year up to May 2014, according to a report in Legal Week. The departures represented six per cent of partners in the UK offices. Out of the 533 exiting the UK offices, 432 left outright. DLA Piper had the highest numberof exits with 11 per cent of the equity partners leaving whilst Freshfields was lowest with only two per cent leaving. Firms such as Herbert Smith freehills, Eversheds and Berwin Leighton Paisner were also high with nine per cent exiting. Source: Financial Post
