Mr Jackson joined Dow Jones as EVP and GC at the end of 2007 and has been responsible for all the legal functions at the company. He was previously associate general counsel of HarperCollins Publishers, another News Corp subsidiary, and prior to that was a partner in the litigation department of Manhattan law firm Squadron, Ellenoff, Plesent and Sheinfeld.
Dow Jones has yet to announce his replacement.
