Newly released data from The Lawyer Market Intelligence (LMI) has placed Eversheds a neck above its peers with seven successful panel pitches in Q1 including spots with Shell, Avis, Siemens and a sole adviser seat with energy company Eaton. Overall there were 17 panel reviews and three sole adviser appointments concluded in the first quarter of this year. Two of these were global panels (Shell and Serco), three were inaugural panels (ARM Holdings, Avis and Weir Group) and a further three were specialist panels (Land Securities' property and specialist panels and Pearson's employment panel). Trailing behind Eversheds in The Lawyer's league table is Clifford Chance with five appointments, followed by Addleshaw Goddard, Allen & Overy, Bird & Bird, DAC Beachcroft, DLA Piper and DWF all with three appointments apiece.
