The prosecution was brought by David Haigh, the former General Counsel of GFH Capital who is now in a Dubai prison. Claims were brought against Mr Haigh that  he had falsified invoices worth £3m in relation to the sale of Leeds United Football Club.  Mr Haigh had claimed that his former employers and Mr Gray had lured him to Dubai where he was subsequently arrested. But a magistrate in London dismissed the prosecution and has now just awarded costs. London firm Peters & Peters represented Peter Gray. District Judge Ikram said: ' I am of the clear view that it was wholly improper to launch these proceedings.' Sources: Peters & Peters;  The Lawyer
