Freshfields names litigator as US head

Freshfields has followed a current trend in appointing a litigator to a senior management role though its naming of Adam Siegel from the New York office as the next US managing partner.

His four-year term starts on April 30. Formerly assistant US attorney in the Manhattan criminal division of the US Attorney’s Office, Mr Siegel joined Freshfields in 2009.
