Ms Jacob, who co-chaired Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson from 2003 to 2014 will join the firm with two other partners from the capital markets team. The firm has also recently hired Mitchell Presser, who was previously a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and former Skadden partner James Douglas.
