The vice-chairs are Chicago-based Jana Cohen Barbe, Prague-based Evan Z. Lazar, London-based Richard Macklin, Edmonton-based Shawna Vogel and Beijing-based Jinquan Xiao. Each is already a member of the firm’s global board and will serve in the vice-chair role until 31 December. The new roles will work with the global chair, Joe Andrew, to ensure best practice and strategic initiatives across the firm, which does not have a single central headquarters.
Once the firm's pending combinations in Australia, Latin America and Singapore are effective, each new region will designate a global vice chair who will join those named above.
