The move is one of several aimed at reinforcing the regulatory regime. The number of staff in the corporate investigations group is going up 10 per cent. Ashley Alder, chief executive, said: ‘We were concerned our investigations were taking too long and one of the bottlenecks was in our own in-house legal department.
