The company, which launched its SMILE initiative (Spread Magic through Initiative, Love and Enthusiasm) in 2003, has produced a report highlighting the firm’s achievements in community development. The company engaged in a number of activities which saw an increase of about 800 per cent hours from 2011.
Charity work
The second annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report found certain areas of Integreon and its associates’ voluntary work to have been of particular benefit to the local and global communities. Key events and programmes include Joy of Giving Week which saw a total of 1,100 voluntary hours given, associates built a home in the Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity in Fargo, North Dakota, a large donation was given from the company to children’s welfare organisation Children’s Hour in Manila, and the ‘Macmillan Coffee Morning’ in London and Bristol saw employees fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Snapshot of success
Head of Integreon’s Philippines operations and the Group’s Global Corporate Social Responsibility programme Benjamin Romualdez said of SMILE: ‘We are constantly growing and expanding the SMILE initiative, and this report provides a snapshot of what has been accomplished over the past year. We are very proud of the impact we’ve made in our communities and we’re striving to do even more this year and in the years to come.’
