Investigation on Utah Attorney General could cost $3 million

A House special investigative committee is expecting to spend up to US$3 million in the investigation of corruption charges against the Attorney General of Utah.

Amongst the allegations against Attorney General John Swallow are that he helped arrange to bribe a senator and that he broke state finance laws. He denies all wrong-doing, according to Deseret News

Steven Reich of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld in Washington has been hired as one of the investigators.
