Law firms are losing their ability to negotiate low rents on their offices, according to an analysis in the US by Jones Lang LaSalle.

In its 'Law Firm Perspective', the surveyor says that half of the top US cities - including Boston, Dallas and San Francisco - are locations where the landlord is winning in office lease negotiations. The last time that landlords were so powerful was seven years ago, according to the National Real Estate Investor. Jones Lang predicts that the power of landlords will continue to grow.
