Law firms make year end international hires

Leading law firms have continued to make lateral hires as the holiday season approaches - with Morrison & Foerster, Dentons and Norton Rose Fulbright emerging as late players in the top end of the jobs market.

Morrison & Foerster has just recruited M&A and securities specialist James Robinson (from Herbert Smith Freehills) in Tokyo. It has also taken on property expert Christoph Fluegel in Germany. Mr Fluegel was working in-house at the German company Union Investment Group.

Meanwhile, Dentons in New York recruited from Baker & McKenzie, appointing Lloyd Winans as a New York corporate partner. Norton Rose has recruited to its energy team Stephanie Hildebrandt from Enterpresise Products Partners. Source: Legal Business
