Law students offered 50pc refund if jobless after nine months

One of the largest educator of lawyers in the UK, the University of Law, is offering refunds to graduates of half their fees if they are not on a training contract or otherwise employed nine months after graduating.

Describing itself as 'the UK’s largest and longest established provider of legal education', the university says it is 'happy' to offer its 'employment promise' because '97 per cent of our LPC (Legal Practice Course) graduates are employed within nine months'. It boasts of having exclusive training relationships with 'Linklaters, Ashursts, and Shearman & Sterling, as well as working with over 90 of the top 100 law firms'.
