Speaking at a community forum in Iowa, Ms Clinton said that the relied on her lawyers to decide which of her emails were personal and which related to her official duties as Secretary of State. Describing the process in an interview with NBC, she said: 'I didn’t look at them. I wanted them to be as clear in their process as possible. I didn’t want to be looking over their shoulder. If they thought it was work-related, it would go to the State Department. If not, then it would not.'
