The group has worked on developing apps to make trademark search easier and to make document mark up easier in complex business deals. A competition held in September and sponsored by Hewlett Packard, called the New York hackathon, saw 16 programs entered. The winners created an app called Obsidian Redline which enables lawyers involved in a transaction to review a document without sending numerous files back and forth between them.
Bases
