Linkaters has made a commitment to greater female representation at the top by announcing plans for 30 per cent female membership on its executive committee and international board by 2018. The move makes it the first magic circle firm to set gender diversity targets. Additionally, the firm aims for at least 30 per cent of its new partners to be female by 2018. The decision was announced at Linkaters' annual conference held in Barcelona in April. Linkaters' chairman and senior partner Robert Elliot said the target reaffirms the firms' commitment to female progression. Source: The Lawyer
