Luxury Law Awards 2022 entry deadline extended

The deadline for entering the Luxury Law Awards 2022 has been extended to 10 May, with law firms, legal departments and specialist advisers encouraged to take part.

The awards will be presented on 22 June at a reception at the Luxury Law Summit Europe, which will be attended by a host of leading general counsel from the luxury sector as well as top executives, entrepreneurs, designers and outside counsel.

The judging panel includes Kate Wilkinson, group general counsel of Mulberry, Louise Butler, global head of brand protection at Diageo, Georgina McManus, chief legal officer, Manolo Blahnik, and Joanne Loughrey, associate general counsel for L’Oreal UK and Ireland, who recently took part in a Q&A with GLP.

Showcase categories include The Marella Naj-Oleari Luxury Business In-House General Counsel of the Year, which last year was awarded to the Goodwood Estate’s Kate Palka, and Legal Team of the Year, which went to Charlotte Tilbury.

Private practice awards include Luxury Law Firm of the Year, which was secured by Bird & Bird in 2021, and Partner of the Year, which was awarded to K&L Gates’s Arthur Artinian, and the Rising Star award.
