Over 250 luxury business leaders are gathering in London in May to review the latest developments impacting the world of luxury law. Luca Solca, Exane BNP Paribas’s managing director of Global Luxury Goods will analyse the future for luxury and how the downturn in China could impact this market. Alan Davies, CEO of Diamonds & Minerals at Rio Tinto is set to give a perspective on the world of diamonds whilst Lorenza Maria di Vecchio, Legal & Compliance Officer for Fendi, convenes with the heads of legal for Furla and Charlotte Olympia, Giorgia Armani and Christina Ngan to discuss the challenges for luxury legal departments. The ongoing war between Alibaba and Taobao and luxury companies Kering and Gucci forms the basis for a discussion of how the litigation is progressing. In the meanwhile law firms and legal departments are invited to enter four luxury law awards - Luxury Law Rising Star Award; Luxury Business In House Legal Team of the Year; Luxury Business General Counsel of the Year and Luxury Law Firm of the Year.
