Minority of firms 'very optimistic' about the future

More firms than ever - 12% - are describing themselves as 'very optimistic' about 2015 in The American Lawyer's survey of managing partners in the Am Law 200.

The anonymous survey shows 78% as somewhat optimistic. Editor in chief Kim Kleman said: ‘Law firm leaders may say they are optimistic but there’s still unease out there about the marketplace.’ Increased competition and pricing constraints are seen as being among the main concerns.
