French firm Gide has poached a 19 strong legal team from the Paris office of US firm Morgan Lewis & Bockius. The departures includes Morgan Lewis managing partner Anne Tolila and leaves the US firms with three partners.
Five of the partners and four associates are to join the French firm’s mergers and acquisitions department whilst four other partners and their teams will go to the funds formation, competition, employment and taxation practice groups.
In a statement, the French firm said that the “arrival of these prominent lawyers shows the attractiveness of Gide.”
