Murder inquiry launched after DLA associate is killed in Washington DC

The police have offered a US$25,000 reward after David Messerschmitt, a 30 year old IP and IT associate, was found dead of stab wounds in a hotel bedroom.

The lawyer was found dead in a fourth floor bedroom of the Donovan Hotel. Police have declared the death a homicide and have released a video of someone in a hooded jacket walking through the lobby at 7.45pm on the evening before. DLA said: 'This is an extremely tragic situation and we send our sincere condolences to David’s family. We are cooperating with the police as they continue their investigation.'
