NRF Joburg gets new director

Norton Rose Fulbright has promoted an international disputes specialist to director in the South African finance hub.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has promoted of aviation, insurance and regulatory lawyer Claudia Jackson to director in its Johannesburg office.

“Formidable relationships”

As head of the firm’s South African aviation practice, Ms Jackson has a local practice which also includes southern African and international aviation insurance markets. She has achieved proficiency in complex international disputes, possessing a decade of experience after earning a Masters in International Dispute Resolution at the University of London. The firm notes she has “formidable relationships” with the insurance regulators in South Africa as well as experience in offshore law, global insolvency and restructurings, commercial litigation as well as regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
