Mr Napoli, recovering from chemotherapy treatment, has been sued along with his wife by Vanessa Dennis, a former lawyer at the firm with whom he had an affair. She is claiming US$9m. Meanwhile, co-founder of the practice Marc Bern claimed that he found irregularities in the firm’s finances when Mr Napoli contracted leakaemia in May.
