Eleven of the new partners are in the Americas, ten are in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and one is in Asia. The new Asian partner is Mizuho Yamada of Tokyo who becomes a partner in the global mergers & acquisitions practice. He advises on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions in Japan, including hotel-related transactions.
Complex, cross-border
Announcing the promotions, chair Hugh Verrier said that the firm aims to work on the 'most complex, cross-border legal challenges'.
