Pillsbury boosts Austin office by hire of ten from Bracewell IP

An ex-managing partner of Bracewell & Giuliani in Austin, Texas is joining Pillsbury, along with three other IP partners - and with the expectation that five associates and a senior counsel follow in their wake.

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman set up its Austin, Texas office last year. The firm's chair Jim Rishwain expects to add more IP lawyers to the office after the recruitment of this team. He added: 'This is a world-class IP team.
