Quinn Emanuel to open in Houston after boutique raid

David Gerger, co-founder of litigation boutique practice Gerger & Clarke, is to become managing partner in the new Houston office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.

Also jumping ship to Quinn Emanuel is Shaun Clarke of Gerger & Clarke, who will become special counsel. Three other lawyers will join from Gerger & Clarke, all as counsel. John Quinn, managing partner of Quinn Emanuel, said: ‘Houston is a booming market. As an international litigation firm we felt we needed a presence there.’ Source: Legal Week
