The numbers of members in attendance represent 9 per cent of the total membership of the organisation which is now 4,000-strong. Nearly a third (30 per cent) of members come from outside Europe. Anita Schlapfer, a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer in Zurich, was appointed president of the IAYL. The association’s next major event is the bi-annual conference on 21-23 November in Luxembourg.
