RPC launches consultancy aimed at in-house lawyers

International law firm RPC has launched a management consultancy intended to help senior in-house lawyers improve their operational efficiency and personal effectiveness.

RPC Perform is headed by a former managing director of Huron Consultancy and T-Mobile general counsel Julia Chain. The consultancy is based in London but will support clients across the globe, offering three core services to in-house lawyers: strategic and operational efficiency; managing relationships with external law firms; and soft skills, including team, personal and leadership development.

The core team

She is joined by Pranav Chopra – a management consultant, chartered accountant and MBA graduate – and Jonathan Middleburgh, a dual-qualified barrister and occupational psychologist. Both were also previously at Huron Consulting. The team has also recently been bolstered by the arrival of Andrew Dey, the former Head of Legal Operations at Barclays, and in charge of legal technology strategy at the bank.
