Sciaroni managing partner defects to ZICOlaw

Malaysian law firm ZICOlaw has hired Samuel Britton as its Myanmar managing partner in Yangon. He moves from Sciaroni & Associates, where he was regional managing partner.

ZICOlaw is Malaysia's largest law firm and has a presence in eight of the 10 ASEAN countries Bule Sky Studio

Mr Britton will be supported by Saw Yu Win as senior adviser and partner in the Myanmar office, which is also supported by Malaysia-based partner Khoo Yu Lin. His experience includes advising on transactions involving cross-border financing, IP, joint ventures, security agreements, securities regulation and stock acquisitions, as well as analysis and negotiation. He has also advised on projects covering aspects and areas of corporate commercial, financing, infrastructure and taxation, as well as real estate transactions. Mr Britton joined Baker & McKenzie in Bangkok in 1995 and established his own law firm in 1998. He joined Sciaroni & Associates Myanmar in 2013 and has worked in Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China and Dubai during his career. Source: Asian Legal Business
