Partners Jay Patel and Juliette Peters specialise in high-net-worth work and have over four decades of experience of matrimonial law between them. Their move to Shoosmiths is part of the firm’s plans to expand its national family law practice and grow its existing client base.
Experience
Mr Patel sits on the Law Society family law panel and advises on financial remedy claims, public and private children work, divorce lawsuits, and international matters such as child abduction.
Ms Peters was formerly head of family law at Howard Kennedy, having held the same position at boutique London firm Quastel Midgen. She advises clients on private children work, pre-nuptial agreements, divorce cases, civil partnership dissolutions and property claims.
