Simmons & Simmons is to open an office in Dublin, the third international firm to plan a launch in Dublin after the Brexit vote. The city firm has hired Fionán Breathnach, head of investment funds and financial regulation at Dublin firm Mason Hayes & Curran. Simmons is currently putting a team together for its Irish operation which is targeted at the funds market. Simmons & Simmons has an office in Luxembourg but has closed down offices in Abu Dhabi and Rome. Pinsents and Covington & Burling has already opened in the Irish capital in the aftermath of the UK European Referendum.
