Squire Patton Boggs has lost a number of its top intellectual property lawyers to Porzio, Bromberg & Newman which is opening a new Washington DC office. Kevin Bell, Scott Chambers and Richard Oparil will join Porzio principal Timothy Ayers in the office with around 12 other lawyers and professionals from Squire Patton Boggs set to join the new office. Porzio managing partner Jeffrey Campbell said of the move: ‘As a law firm with deep roots in life sciences and intellectual property, as well as government affairs, education, financial services, and manufacturing, among other industries, the opening of this office is the catalyst for an exciting new chapter for Porzio, Bromberg & Newman.’ Porzio has existing offices in New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts.
