Standard Chartered revamps legal function

As part of a management shake-up, Standard Chartered has given additional responsibilities to two members of the legal department.

Standard Chartered has revamped its legal function, with group general counsel David Fein adding corporate secretariat duties to his brief. The general counsel, who has been with the bank since September 2013, will become part of the management team reporting to new chief executive Bill Winters. He replaces Annemarie Durbin who is exiting the company. The bank has also appointed Neil Barry as its acting head for legal and compliance to replace Jamie Kelly who has gone on sabbatical. The moves form part of a management shake-up by the CEO.
