Stephenson Harwood breaches £1m partner pay threshold

The firm's top of equity has earned £1.16m this year, as top-tier income jumped 43 per cent.

The lowest earners saw their income jump by 43 per cent as well, up to £402,000. Sharon White, CEO, said: 'Breaking the £1m barrier was not something we had focused on, as most of all you want to meet the budget and maintain profitability.' She added she wished to grow the firm further so that Stephenson Harwood is 'an interesting firm to join'.  

Mentors

Mentoring is now being offered to associates as a way of encouraging them to aim for partnership. Newly-made up partners are acting as mentors. Source: The Lawyer
